How it All Started
In 2021, a group of 28 choral enthusiasts united to bring the community together for a concert, the first since the COVID-19 pandemic a year prior. Initially, there was no intention of this becoming a continuously existing choir, but the joy and sense of community it restored in the wake of the uncertainty and isolation of the pandemic reignited a desire to uplift friends and neighbors through song. It quickly became clear that this gathering of singers had become an organization.

How We’ve Grown
A little more than three years later, over 80 community members of all ages and backgrounds have sung in over 20 concerts and other events. 40 singers participated in our tri-state tour, which included concerts in New York City, Rhode Island, and Boston. In the fall of 2023, we became a 501(c)3 nonprofit foundation, dedicated to building community through the power of song.

Help us continue our mission.
Your generous financial gifts make it possible for us to not only bring our community together through song, but provide opportunities for our singers to expand their musical horizons and strengthen our group bond. Last year 40 singers had the incredible opportunity to participate in our tri-state tour, which included concerts in New York City, Boston, and Rhode Island. Together we can lift up our community through song!
Come sing with us!
We warmly invite all singers 14 and older, with any level of experience, to join us. While we do have a lot of fun, preparing for concerts takes time and commitment. We have a limited number of rehearsals, so you must be self-motivated to practice and learn the music at home in order to be prepared.
Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings at Wesley United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg, with a Thursday dress rehearsal and concerts on weekends. Members can also join rehearsals via Zoom, but in-person attendance is encouraged whenever possible.

Enjoy this excerpt from Saturday’s concert. We first sang “The Blue Bird” at our very first concert in July of 2021! Since then, it has become an old favorite. This performance was special. If you listen carefully, you will hear the actual bird that joined us in singing this atmospheric, deeply beautiful masterpiece. Kudos to our soloist, Lydia Barton! ... See MoreSee Less
